The Gonzaga Bulletin 1.1

Founded in 1919, The Gonzaga Bulletin is the official student newspaper for Gonzaga University, located in Spokane, Washington. The publication releases weekly issues approximately 31 times per academic year. Copies of The Gonzaga Bulletin are available on campus or online at www.gonzagabulletin.com.

The Gonzaga Bulletin invites reader feedback in the form of letters to the editor. Submitted content is subject to the newspaper's rights, which include potential republishing, archiving, and editing for clarity. Letters may be featured in print, online, or exclusively online. Writers should provide their full name, a headshot photo, their relation to the GU community, and a telephone number solely for confirmation purposes. For current GU students or recent alumni not submitting a photo, The Bulletin will use their Gonzaga ID picture from Zagweb. Letters should be typed and not exceed 600 words. Send your contributions via email to [email protected] with "Letter to the Editor" in the subject line by 5 p.m. on Monday.

The Bulletin has policies regarding profanity use, aiming to maintain a standard of respectful discourse. Profanity will be moderated with considerations such as necessity, appropriateness for context, and minimal usage when required. The publication prohibits ad hominem arguments and hate speech based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability. Critiques should focus on topics, facts, and concepts rather than targeting individuals within the community.

All letters to the editor must bear the genuine signature of the author(s). While submission on behalf of groups or organizations is allowed, authorization from the author is mandatory. The Gazette does not accept anonymous or pseudonymous submissions.

Opinions expressed in The Gonzaga Bulletin represent those of the contributors and may not align with the perspectives of Gonzaga University's faculty, administration, or student body.
